Reasons To Contribute

The Wishing Star Theater plans to be a cultural cornerstone in Delavan for years to come. By hosting exceptional shows and events, coupled with community programming that uplifts, aids, and entertains, Wishing Star will breathe new life into the downtown Delavan area.

But we need your help to do this.

We have determined the total project cost to be just under $8 Million, of which we are trying to raise $2.5 Million as collateral. So far, we have collected almost $1 Million, so we are turning to the Lakes Area community for assistance with the remaining amount. Your generous contributions to Friends of the Wishing Star Theater (a 501(c)3 organization) will pave the way to a new chapter for this historic building.

Many theaters put on a good show, but very few help build inclusive communities. You can make a difference when you contribute to Wishing Star Theater.
